First of all, what do we mean by compassion?

Being compassionate is about recognizing that difficulties and pain are a part of life. This is followed by the desire and willingness to reduce the suffering of ourselves, others and the world.

Compassion is an unconditional, non-judgmental quality and we don’t offer compassion based on how good or bad someone is as a person, but because of the belief that everyone is worthy of receiving kindness, forgiveness and care.
